Stanton Image Library

This database contains photographs and images from the Stanton Library David Earle Local Studies Collection. This collection of over 8,500 items, documents the history and development of the North Sydney Council area from the 1840s to the present.

The collection depicts the North Sydney Council area (both past and present boundaries) and features images of street scenes, built environment, transport, industry, parks and reserves, sport and recreation, social conditions, architecture and interior design, domestic scenes, major social events, major natural events, North Sydney Council buildings and activities, Stanton Library building and activities, fashion and clothing, and local identities and families.
