National Trust of Australia (Tasmania)

The National Trust of Australia (Tasmania) holds one of the major collections of images in the State.  These cover not only buildings and architecture but also a wide range of other subjects including agriculture, technology, regional social history and everyday life. They range in age from examples of the earliest photographic processes up to contemporary scenes.

The Trust's policy of digitisation has meant that a large number of images have been made available for the public to view  via its web-site.

The Trust is progressively adding to this on-line facility.
